Sweetie Girl Racing (SGR) is Canada’s first and largest all-female car enthusiast team that represents a new initiative to become more than just a car club!
Who we are
Sweetie Girl Racing, the first and largest Canadian all-female car enthusiast team, was established in 1999.
Women are now having a remarkable influence on what was once a totally male-dominated sport. Far more than just a car club, SGR is a group of strong female role models and is a diverse organization committed to educating, participating, and fostering personal growth in its members and the community.
Our Purpose
The SGR Driving Clinic Series and technical workshops provide women with opportunities to enhance their presence within auto enthusiast circles and provide positive exposure to the general public. SGR has organized and participated in countless charity events, including the popular SGR Annual Charity Car Wash and Dyno Day, which raised over $1,800 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
SGR members are passionate about their cars and about what they do - and are dedicated to introducing women to as many aspects of the motorsport community as possible. We help women gain valuable experience, make professional contacts and, best of all, build great friendships. We are always on the lookout for fresh faces, new ideas and members who share the same values we do.
