Change of plans, it's only going to be me. We have an engine to build before the Mirabel CCTCC race so Andrew is staying home.

I have a couple of questions:
1. Are helmets mandatory?
2. What are the rules for passing during open lapping?
3. What are the passing zones?

Thanks!

Yup, helmets are mandatory in open lapping. Passing is expected to be executed by signal or point by, and done off the race line in the 2 straights by the front and corner 1. Novice drivers and car control school participants must be accompanied by an instructor until signed off with approval.

Cars will be ranging from street to exotics so we will not be tolerating any type of overly aggressive driving - good attitude is key. We're expecting a relatively small group of drivers, allowing everyone to take full advantage of the seat time available. Forecast is calling for sunny skies, high of 27 degrees! :)

When's the next CCTCC race in the Toronto area? I'd love to come out and help if you guys need it an extra set of hands for anything. I'm sure you guys are well equipped with mechanical help but I can bake some wicked cookies :)

Hey everyone,

This Sunday is shaping up to be a great day with sunny skies and a variety of cars ranging from street to luxury vehicles. Quality instructors available including psychologist and race car driver Dr. Louisa Gembora, who you may recognize as one of the panelist's from the tv show Canada's Worst Driver in her GTR! *drool*

Today's the last day we're offering pre-register pricing. Spectators are free but the gourmet lunch portions are limited so let us know so we can reserve a spot either on the track or in the food line!
