Hey Everyone!

As you know, Sweetie Girl Racing will be participating in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure, on Sunday, October 1, 2006, we are asking for your support. There are only 14 days remaining to help SGR continue to raise money for this major event!

The SGR team is one of more than 170,000 participants who will be walking or running on October 1st. During 2006, Sweetie Girl Racing has been raising money through various events such as The Annual Sweetie Girl Racing Charity Car Wash/Dyno Day and through selling freezees through out the year. The money we raise will continue go to fund breast cancer research, education and awareness programs across the country. The Foundation can continue to fund the research and programs that are helping improve the quality of life for families touched by breast cancer.

Question AnnaH:
when I go to the team's page does that amount reflect everything that has been raised by the team (combined)? Are you also going to include what was raised at the car wash, etc?... I don't know, I'm just asking 'cause I have no idea how they look at the team's goals, total amount of money raised, etc

Dear Anna,

Thank you for being a team captain at this year's Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
CIBC Run for the Cure.

Through your efforts to lead and motivate your team, you will know there is power in
numbers. By working together and pooling ideas and resources, people can accomplish
great things. The same is true in the world of breast cancer research, where
scientists often work in teams on complex projects that seek to better understand
breast cancer and how it can be most effectively treated.

While great progress has been made in overcoming breast cancer – the number of
people who die from the disease is the lowest it has been since 1950 – there is
still much work to be done. Money raised through the Run is used by the Foundation
to fund breast cancer research and community education programs that have the
greatest potential to make a difference in the lives of people affected by breast
cancer.

In Ontario last year, the Foundation invested $10.5 million in high-quality
initiatives that will help us better understand why and how breast cancer develops,
improve the quality of life for people diagnosed with breast cancer, and enable
community-based organizations to respond to local breast health needs. For examples
of how your support is having an impact, I invite you to visit our website at
www.cbcf.org/ontario.

Should you and your team members wish to continue fundraising, Run donations will be
accepted at CIBC branches and at www.cbcf.org until the end of October. Your
fundraising will count toward incentive prizes until October 31, 2006.

Thanks again for your support of the Foundation and our shared goal of a future
without breast cancer. We look forward to seeing you at next year's Run on Sunday,
September 30, 2007!

Sincerely,

Sharon Wood
