Nothing to do this weekend?

Myself and Ana Marie will be at the SoloSprint event this Saturday and Sunday at Shannonville Motorsport Park. Ryan B will also be there, camping out for the weekend! It's my first ever SoloSpring event so hopefully everything will be well with the CRX *fingers crossed*

- 401 East (20 miles East of Belleville) to Exit 556 (Shannonville Rd),
- 2 miles South on Shannonville Rd to Highway 2

So Anna no interesting stories from this past weekends events? no pictures? I know I didn't do anything that I was hoping but I guess it was still good to be out and on the track.

AMAZING doesn't even get close to describing this past weekend Anna!! :D :D :D

I had an interesting "road-trip" after turn 4.... I guess I just decided to take a look at the swamp from the air, and got my 4 wheels off the ground when exiting the turn.... not fun really, but learned a couple of things !!

Anna got unbelievable times!! and I mean U N B E L I E V A B L E for her first event !! WOW.
On day 2 she was 9th out of 11 competitors, and #10 and #11 are experienced solosprinters and instructors! YOU GO GIRL!

Ryan was 5th in a class of 7, again with #6 and #7 being veterans and very experienced solosprinters... and on day 2, 6th place but with much better times.... Solosprint is actually more about the times than the place you end up in, really.

i didn't do that bad either... ended 3rd in a class of 5 on saturday and 3rd on sunday, taking 2 secs off my previous time !! I couldn't be any happier with my results given that this is the first time the civic goes to Shannonville. That little one is amazing!

Everybody was pushing really hard !! CONGRATS GUYS!!

I didn't bring my camera but Anna has a couple of pictures, and as soon as the official ones get posted, I'll post some here too!!

The next Solosprint weekend is on June 24-25 at Mosport DDT. Let me know if youre interested in coming out to participate or even if it's just to check it out! I'm in charge of registrations and there are still a lot of spaces available!! It will be lots of fun!!

All in all an unforgettable weekend.

Hehehe...I can't take all the credit. I've learned that my car can handle more than I thought it could. It likes to be pushed!!

So Ryan are you planning to go both days this weekend? I believe the event is $130 at the door. Deadline was this past friday for the $115 special...
